About Kiran
I am a qualified, experienced teacher and a successful tutor. Having been teaching and tutoring for over nine years, I have extensive knowledge of all syllabuses, from Key Stage 3, GCSE and A-Level.
I currently work at an educational charity as a Mathematics assessment expert, and have a Master's in Mathematics Education from UCL.
Before this, I was a Lecturer of A-Level and GCSE Mathematics at a local college, having previously been Assistant Director of Maths at Burnham Grammar School. I have also been Numeracy Coordinator and Key Stage 3 Coordinator in schools in Buckinghamshire and Slough.
I completed a PGCE in Secondary Mathematics in 2011 from University of Reading, having graduated from University of Nottingham with an Honours degree in Mathematics with Statistics.
I am enhanced DBS (previously called CRB) checked. Tuition is done online using a virtual classroom software that I have a lot of experience in using. Since moving online since 2020, student resulted have continued to be excellent, and feedback from students is very positive.
